Generally speaking, all toaster ovens perform the same functions. They toast, bake, broil, warm up, reheat, defrost, convection etc. The Hamilton Beach does all these things and in addition can do one thing most other ovens can’t It can rotisserie a chicken as big as five pounds. There are other rotisserie appliances out there, but they don’t have any of the regular oven functions. The Hamilton Beach will rotisserie a chicken till it’s moist, juicy and tender. Now you don’t have to find a restaurant that makes and serves rotisserie chicken when you can easily make it yourself in you own kitchen.

Convection Heat

Every toaster oven uses heating elements to cook the food placed on it’s racks. However, the Hamilton Beach countertop oven includes a convection feature. It uses a fan to circulate hot air around the food being cooked. This heats the food evenly and cooks it 33% faster than without the convection function. I don’t understand how anyone can go back to using an oven without the convection function. It really is more energy efficient and shortens the time it normally takes to heat up food.
